Detailed description of the mission - It's about Geospatial Data Science - You will help ATR continue to develop its MobilityMonitor platform to explore and communicate about human mobility trends - You will use Pyspark and MS Azure Databricks to work with gigantic volumes of Mobile GPS Data - You will use and improve our analytics pipeline to estimate inter-city travel volumes by mode of travel, for specific countries in line with our commercial objectives - You will use CARTO and PowerBI to develop interactive dashboards - You will develop an interesting market story for specific countries, and share your findings within ATR and with our customers - You will be a part of the Business Development team, will interface with Marketing & Sales, and can expect opportunities to meet external parties including airlines and government bodies This internship is designed for you - A university education in Data Science, preferability with a Geospatial component - Interest in human transportation needs - Coding ability and a willingness to learn Python & Pyspark if not already skilled - Ability to solve analytical problems by conceptualising and implementing new algorithms - Familiarity with existing research basis for processing of mobility data will be a plus - Ability to synthesise data and information into clear communications and dashboards Calendar Starting date: September 2026 How does the recruitment process work?
