Détail du poste What role you will play on our team We are continuing to expand our global trading organization, and rapidly building our analytical capabilities. We are looking for passionate individuals with an entrepreneurial mind-set to drive change in our business, and who enjoy working in dynamic, collaborative, and diverse global teams. Currently we have an opportunity for an experienced Northeast Power Analyst to be part of our Global Trading Analytics team. The role will work very closely with our teams on the trading floor and is based in our Houston, Texas Spring Campus. What you will do - You will provide market expertise, fundamental analysis, statistical modelling and opportunity & risk identification to support power trading, structuring, and origination activities focused on the Northeast U.S. power markets. - You will take responsibility for understanding and analyzing ExxonMobil's North American power exposure as we support our business in navigating the evolving U.S. power landscape. This includes analyzing regional market fundamentals, nodal and zonal dynamics, power generation assets, congestion patterns, and forward market drivers across ISOs such as PJM, ISO NE, and NYISO. - You will help us capture additional value by advising on trading strategies, the optimization of power positions, and the identification and structuring of new opportunities. - Leveraging detailed market understanding to recommend profitable trading, optimization, and business development strategies - Researching, analyzing and interpreting fundamental drivers across the Northeast U.S. power markets, and translating these into market views and forward price outlooks to drive trading strategies - Leading the development & improvement of analytical tools - Development and/or enhancement of existing analytical tools to improve insights from market fundamentals - Remaining knowledgeable about leading-edge developments, analytical techniques, technologies and tools in advanced
