Position Reporting directly to the Department Manager, you will contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems within a fast-evolving and highly engineering-driven environment focused on next-generation airborne renewable energy technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the design, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of lightweight mechanical systems and airborne power transmission technologies. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the development of innovative mechanical solutions from early engineering concepts through prototyping, manufacturing, integration, and validation phases. The role covers the full engineering cycle, from preliminary calculations and CAD design to prototyping, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and product improvement activities. You will work on complex mechanical systems involving rotating machinery, pulleys, gearboxes, cable-driven systems, and lightweight airborne mechanisms under strong performance and reliability constraints. You will also collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners on sourcing, fabrication, and industrialization activities, while contributing to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team when appropriate.
