Détail du poste Amazon is building a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites to deliver high-speed broadband to underserved communities worldwide. We seek a leader who can navigate Europe's complex regulatory telecommunications landscape and secure the licenses and approvals that will enable us to connect millions of consumers, business, government and mobility customers with satellite broadband. As the Senior Lead, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Europe, you will own the development and execution of licensing strategies across much of the region - from securing satellite earth station authorizations to electronic communications service approvals and compliance, and shaping related regulations for non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) systems at national, regional (e.g., CEPT), and international (e.g., ITU) levels. You will be the regulatory expert who turns complex regulatory and compliance challenges into competitive advantages, both in the near term and looking well into the future. This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.
